Edition Annotation Feature

The Edition Annotation Feature supports the creation of a range of annotation types linked to syllables, words, compounds, lines or other structural sequences.  There is significant overlap with the Structure Annotation Feature.  Annotations apply user provided text which is displayed within the Edition Properties Feature.  Footnote types also display a superscript in the edition main pane with hover text and are generated as footnotes with the Edition Publishing Feature.  Translation and Chāyā annotation types are displayed in separate panes within the Translation V and Chāyā V.  Workflow annotation types (Question, Comment, Issue, ToDo, Done, Obsolete) are displayed only in the Edition Properties Feature.

Glossary Annotation Feature

The Glossary Annotation Feature supports the application of specialized annotations to both lemma and attested forms.  Annotations apply user provided text which is displayed within Glossary VE main pain, within the Glossary Properties Feature, and exported as with the Glossary Publishing Feature.
